tell me the LAST TIME downtown Houston skyscrapers were lit with UT, TAMU or BAYLOR…never happened.
Even when Baylor won a recent NC in basketball, there was ZERO buzz within the city of Houston pulling for the Bears…ZERO.

Same with TCU making it all the way to the College Football Championship…little buzz from a City of Houston support standpoint. Fans here yes…rabid support…No!
Now…compare that to UH where the BUZZ was everywhere for March Madness.
They even had viewing parties at Discovery Green…for the early rounds!
This city will blow it’s top if /When UH wins a NC in football or basketball.
There is not a single Power 4 school with a higher ceiling than the University of Houston!

You too have a point. The comical is the best representation so to speak. 99% of the time they ignore us. When we win we are on their front page. Surely we need to win more but comparing with other major cities with in town Universities we are at the bottom.
