Indeed. I love her answer at the end dealing with the challenge of changing the perspective of Houston being a commuter school. As a student I remember feeling that pride she talked about. I learned what it meant to be proud of an institution because of her and her goals.
I attended grad school at UNT and I can honestly say it was a disappointing experience because they lacked pride in their institution. From students to faculty.
I’m entirely grateful of Renu Khator and the education that she provides to the students of UH.
