Report: UNC leading group looking to leave ACC to join the SEC

I completely understand the hesitation, but I would trust that Yormark would make sure any deal puts B12’s interest above anything else.

It would have to be bespoke.

Ultimately, a PE investment would only work if there is guaranteed upside (such as adding brands like FSU/Clemson/Miami that would undoubtedly increase the value of the media deal)

With the B12’s current teams, it wouldn’t make much sense.

Our league and our commish already said NO to that. We arent going to owe some outside entity a lot of money. And we sure as h*** arent paying FSU and Clemson exit fees.

Yormark didn’t say no, he just says that it doesn’t make much sense at the moment.

It’s possible we won’t need PE at all. It just depends on how everything unfolds with the ACC

“It is all about generating profit.”

Welcome to America bud. Have you been paying attention to college sports for the last 30 years?

Ha ha ha, come on man, don’t be daft.

They have almost as many F4’s as we do (6 v 7) but have more championship game appearances, and they have actually won a title. Heck, the women’s team blows ours out of the water.

We can get mad, but Syracuse draws big ratings, especially in the NE.

Comparing Syracuse to UH does not help your case. UH is not a blue blood in basketball. Success, yes, but not a blue blood.

Uh, no.

They have the SAME number of title appearances (three), and fewer final fours.

As for their title, that does NOT make them a blue blood.

Takes multiple natties to be in that conversation.

Me too!

Currently, in Sanford but planning to move to either the Crystal Coast, or Asheville, once I sell my house in Sanford.

They aren’t a blue blood but they are definitely one of the biggest brands in the sport. They drew 19k in a 14-19 year. They’re legit.
