Reviving UH Legacy Logos | Graphic Design

I started vectorizing “legacy” UH Logos (aka logos UH might have been used at some point in time, even if they fell out of use or popularity), in an attempt to “revive” them, as it is incredibly difficult to readily find them for use in graphic design, brochures, YouTube videos, general marketing material, social media or other visual outlets.

I’m not a graphic designer nor do I know how utilize programs like Photoshop, Illustrator, Inkscape, etc. on a professionally efficient level, but I tried my best to trace this one & save it in a lossless format that would allow anyone to manipulate it further, if you so wish.

I found this one on a picture circulating on FaceBook many years ago, and given the look, I like to call it the UH “Olde Classical Literature” logo

If any of you out there can sharpen this vector, please feel free to share & post on this thread. As I go completing more logos and old/nostalgic UH flyers, banners, etc., I’ll go posting them on here as well.

This is the original picture I traced this from, which I found on a random FaceBook Marketplace post about 5 years ago. They claimed it was an old UH emblem that you could sew on to a shirt.

Alright… alright… I like it. Well done

ROTC?

It looks like a logo from the Peloponnesian War. A sickle and an archer. I think machine double-stitch was on the wane at that time though.

I have no idea. Like I mentioned, i found the pic on a Facebook marketplace picture.

The only info they gave was that this was an old patch emblem that belonged to their grandmother, iirc.
