RIP! What an amazing talent.

“The Natural” is still one of my all-time favorites!

Too many movies to choose from.

I love The Candidate “A better way with McKay”.

Probably my favorite RR movie was The Sting, with Paul Newman. I saw it when it first came out on opening weekend. At the end of the movie, the audience applauded their enjoyment. It won 7 Academy Awards, one for best picture and one for best musical score, which was Scott Joplin’s The Entertainer, an old ragtime number performed by Marvin Hamlisch.

There are to many to pick a favorite and just as good as a director and producer.

Butch, you think you used enough dynamite?

Downhill Racer was such a great movie. His difficult/non relationship with his dad was Oscar worthy for me. The “heavy weight” fight with Gene Hackman was tremendous. The Sting, Butch, so many others especially Ordinary People. Great, great actor.

His contributions to film and television are immeasurable from the Sundance Institute, film festival, channel, and then all the stuff he produced. He executive produced the Dark Winds series, and actually has a brief cameo with George RR Martin (also an executive producer on the show) in the last season, his last film/TV appearance.

I never knew Redford had Texas roots.

@coogman91, I think you just ran away with the Trivia of the Day award.

Nicely done.
