Here is 12 minute video of a guy that says he’s not shareholder or paid fanboy
of Tesla. He goes into question of who cleans up after the drunk that vomits or
urinates in your car or the kids that leave it sticky and smelly.
Umm, the passenger does. Have you used Uber or Lyft? You have to register a credit card before you can ride. They know who you are. It’s not like a taxi where you can just flag one down. Duh. Like if you rent an AirBNB, you’re responsible for damages. Come on now. This is common sense.
Why include Waymo/others in your title, we all know you’re just bashing Tesla.
Anyways, Waymo says they have had over 10 million paid rides and are still
not profitable. They have been at it for 5 years now.
The robotaxi company is part of Alphabet’s “Other Bets” unit. Revenue in the overall category fell 9% in the first quarter from a year earlier to $450 million, and operating loss grew from to $1.23 billion from $1.02 billion a year ago.
While those figures include a number of businesses, Mawakana confirmed that Waymo is not yet profitable but that the company is “super focused on building a sustainable business.”
How much did google and amazon lose in its first years. lol. But sure go ahead, if it makes you feel better. Cherry pick all the clickbait articles you want.

Some people use them for more than a ride, so to speak…
Since your just throwing out opinions and not putting in any effort , it looks like it took google less than 3 years to turn a profit, per AI.
After its incorporation in September 1998
, Google achieved profitability in 2001, reporting a net income of approximately $7 million from $86 million in gross revenues. This means it took Google less than three years to become profitable from its inception.
For Amazon it looks like it took 9 years to
post a profit.
Pretty sure google and amazon didn’t run over or kill anybody during their non profitable formative years.
For the robot taxi fleet of 10 to 12 vehicles in the few weeks it’s been in operation with human in the front seat to provide emergency override?
Is that your question, really ?
If so, I’m happy to report it is zero !
Now if you want to have a meaningful discussion, we should be talking about all accidents with fatalities for Cruise, Waymo, and FSD since inception. Is that zero ?
Always like to give fanboys a helping hand.
Oh, there is CEO opening at X you may be good fit for now that Linda has resigned. You
have the solid worship credentials.
