Sunsetter retractable awnings seems to be a reasonable solution.

When I was in college, the Carrier Dome was not air conditioned. It was hot in there for spring lacrosse.
I grew up sitting on the 30 yard line in the purple section of the Dome, absolutely nothing will ever be as great as that.

I grew up on the 50 yard line with my two little sisters IN THE YELLOW section, while my parents were in the Skybox…
Wouldn’t have traded it for anything else either…

I believe the purple section was the Loge. I loved the Loge. TV set in each section. A/C. Concession stands nearby. High enough to watch the plays develop. Outstanding!

I always thought if we could cover the stadium…or at least the fans…we could do it like Hard Rock Stadium in Miami. With all the SWA planes that fly over our stadium every 60 seconds, it would be a great adverting opportunity for some large company.

The Loge was super cool…had those low ceilings, kinda felt like you were in a special place to watch the game, plus it usually had better food (uh…always😉)
