Ross Villarreal, the UT dropout who has for years constantly made fun of UH while on the air with Matt Thomas on 790 each day, stepped over the line Thursday. While Matt was interviewing Fritz on the air, Ross could be heard on a hot mic making fun of Willie’s voice and saying, “When he gets fired, I’m going to call in as Willie on a mobile.”
This guy has had it out for UH for years and we’re nothing more than a joke to him. 790 carries UH games and we deserve better. Please join me in contacting UH (trying to reach Nunez) and calling 790 (below) and demanding an apology and some accountability. I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. Who knows how much they trash UH up there on a daily basis.

That is disrespectful but a fired HC is a millionaire many times over. A fired radio hack is waving down people inside Costco asking if they want better internet.
One Saturday morning I was listening to his (Ross) show because the cougars basketball team had a huge win the night before. Not a word was spoken about it for his whole show. Complete trash. He would laugh when i would call about Keenum. Trash

The guy took time out of his day to be on your bs station getting you listeners and you mock him and say when he gets fired im gonna mock him… WHILE HES SPEAKING. Youre not even actively listening or letting people listen to what he’s saying. You’re wasting everyones time.
I would never go back on that station, it be better to give someone else a chance…
