Freshmen are coming in so I was taking a look at the roster. Good news, no other departures recently:

3rd Position Changes - some guys have new positions on the roster

Nick Thurman - DE (was DL)
DJ Jenkins - DE (was DL)
Zorrell Ezell - DE (was DL)
Kobe Idumwonyi - OLB (was LB)
Leroy Godfrey - OLB (was LB)

Looks like we lost 2 guys after checking the roster today - 1 scholarship player:

  • LB Camden Ross is no longer listed on the roster. Ross redshirted last year as a freshman and was a 2 star recruit.

  • DE Nathan Hill, who made the team out of spring as a walk-on, is no longer listed on the roster.

Ross has not been on the roster for awhile. I believe he retired from football due to injury.

Hadn’t seen that or hadn’t updated my spreadsheet; probably the latter the way my memory is going. Noticed they removed Colton Freeman though.

I met Camden Ross at a burger place across from TCU in the fourth quarter of the Armed Forces Bowl. He had already committed to UH and was watching us beat Pitt. My ten year old son was so cold that we left and watched the historic comeback in a warm place. Good luck to Camden.
