RPI Tracker

RPI makes little sense sometimes. We beat Rice (211 RPI) and drop a few spots and Aggies beat SHSU (218 RPI) and move up 2.

We were at home, and they were at Sam is the biggest factor.

Let’s make the Big 12 Tourney this year where anything can happen.

Go Coogs!

What’s the biggest thing you need a lot of to win a tournament?

  • hint—-This team doesn’t have it.

Orange slices?

Sunflower seeds
.and LOTS of pitching.

They did make it single elimination this year so you don’t have to have as much pitching as in the past.

You still have to have pitching for game two and three
.having one SP and one shutdown RP isn’t gonna get it done.

Currently at 102. Highest spot in awhile. next 4 are away games at #39 and #43 rpi teams, a good chance to move into the 80’s with a stellar week.

Whitting’s Coogs have cracked the top 100 and are the best D1 team in Houston. That’s the Noble equivalent of the Coogs cracking the top 10 and being the best D1 team in Texas.

They should sweep UTAH this weekend
.they are horrible

UH is #100 and Utah is #121.

Even a sweep , especially at home is not going to do much for RPI.

Arizona is #25
ASU is #44

Your two opponents to end the season.

Officially throwing in the towel on tracking RPI this year. Bummer to not get games in against Oregon State, Texas and A&M, which didnt help.

Looks like a 11 seed out of 12 in the tournament and a first game against someone like TCU/Kansas State/Arizona. It would take a 4-0 week to clinch a regional and I have no doubt this team has a chance to beat any team in the country throwing our best guys, just not sure we have the horsepower for 4 games.

You are probably correct.

I’m praying for a Big 12 tourney MIRACLE!!!

We don’t have the “horse power” for two games!

Four games? :joy:

And no, they don’t have the talent to “beat any team in the country “.

Maybe the Big 12, but not the country.

its unfortunate that one of our horses Ace Reece is hitting .350 with 17 HRs and 60 RBI in the SEC. Big loss.

UH top 3 HR hitters have a combined 24. Ace has 17.

That’s a hell of a season. Might be able to sneak onto an All American team.

He is in a better place instead of wasting his talents and a team that isn’t going to postseason play

And why do you think he left ?

If you say NIL you’d be wrong.
