I think Whitting has been playing 4D chess all along. He didn’t want to show our hand during the regular season so we just squeaked into the conference tournament. But now that we made it, the plan will soon be revealed…

There is no chance in hell that UH makes the tournament, even if they go 4-0. First of all, it will not happen. Second, U of A’s RPI is only 41. That will not catapult their RPI, even if they sweep. Also, our NC schedule is one of the worst in the country. I believe it is around 260. The committee doesn’t reward teams with bad NC schedules. Yes, they missed a couple of games but so did everyone else.

If they go 4-0 they will make the tournament. I agree they won’t but settle down buddy. Drink some orange juice and relax.
No they will not. You are drinking the juice, not me. Trust me, nobody at D1baseball is saying anything about UH making the tournament, even if they won 6 games in a row.
The Big 12 is down this year. They will be lucky to get 7. It will probably be 6. If Cincinnati can get to a winning record in the Big12, they are probably in. Their RPI is at 35 and they have a much better resume than we will have.
Again, if they go 4-0 in the tournament, they get an automatic bid to a regional.
We all agree it won’t happen, but thats how it works.

They play u of A this weekend. We were talking about the three games vs U of A and first tournament game. Quite making stupid vulgar comments and learn to read. They would have to win four games to win the Big 12 Tournament. That would make it 7 games. You probably missed that day in math class, though.

If we win the last six games, that is to say, six in a row, we make the NCAA tourney (last two v. Zona, plus the conference tourney).

We don’t even have to win the first game against Zona.
Hell, if we simply go 4-0 in the Big 12 tourney, we make the NCAAs.
So we really don’t even have to win six in a row to make the tourney.

Remember, that’s the program that was calling the Big 12 a “truck stop” conference, acting like it was beneath them, and saying how they belong in the B1G.
