Russian Three Star General CAPTURED in Ukraine

It seems convenient you go to 2022, go look at 2025. Yes, prior to 2022 Germany did get a lot of crude oil from Russia. But not anymore. You are moving the goalposts by bringing China into the mix. As RT pointed out, we still trade with Russia. We could enact sanctions with more teeth, yet we won’t, we will give Putin 2 more weeks.

Pre-2022 (Before Sanctions)

  • In 2021, Russia supplied 34.1% of Germany’s crude oil imports, according to Wikipedia.
  • Germany was the top EU buyer of Russian oil, importing 687,000 barrels per day (bpd) of crude oil and 149,000 bpd of refined products in November 2021.

Post-2022 (After Sanctions)

  • The EU banned imports of Russian crude oil via seaports starting December 5, 2022, and seaborne Russian oil products starting February 5, 2023.

  • As a result, Germany imported almost no crude oil from Russia in the years following the invasion of Ukraine.

  • Germany significantly reduced its dependence on Russian energy and has identified new primary suppliers, such as the United States, Kazakhstan, Britain, Norway, and members of OPEC.

Nine months later we’re back to being on the right side

You are sure about that?
schroeder

merkel, ex stasi

Both schroeder and merkel empowered p.o.s. putin at the detriment of the E.U. and especially Ukraine. Many in Europe consider both as “Russian” ally. The nord stream pipeline did not happen with a magic wand. Both german politicians knew what p.o.s. putin was capable of. They both have bloods on their hands.

90210, you do realize we are a few months from going into 2026. You are conveniently fixated on 2022.

Let’s look at how Germany sees it now.

In 2025, Germany’s political leadership has largely shifted away from viewing Nord Stream as a beneficial infrastructure link, and instead regards its continuation (or revival) as undesirable for several reasons:

Chancellor Friedrich Merz has publicly supported an EU ban on reactivating Nord Stream to prevent any U.S.–Russia or Russian-side efforts to bring it back online.

Germany is considering legal reforms to prevent foreign ownership or takeover of the pipeline infrastructure. In mid-2025 the government floated changes to its foreign trade law to block any future Russian-controlled asset acquisition related to Nord Stream 2.

Even though the pipeline is (largely) disabled, Germany retains leverage: any reactivation would require German regulatory approval or cooperation.

Since the war in Ukraine, Germany has made reducing dependence on Russian gas a national priority. The idea of re-opening pipelines to Russia is politically and strategically frowned upon.

The pipeline is often seen now as part of a “bad bet” in German energy policy, and a symbol of overreliance on Russian energy rather than a sensible bridge option. They know they made a mistake

While older surveys (e.g. in the early 2020s) had shown significant public support in Germany for the completion of Nord Stream 2, the context has shifted substantially with the war and the sabotage events.

Much of the public discourse in Germany today treats the pipeline as a geopolitical liability more than an energy asset.

Germany sees its future in a reduced dependence on single-source suppliers, and Nord Stream is treated more as a cautionary tale than a path forward.

But feel free to cling to ideas and beliefs that are almost 4 years old and older.

Those are from back in 2022!!!

And they all reference stuff that happened BEFORE that.

One talks about Schroeder who hasn’t been the German chancellor since 2005!!!

Jayzus Bro.

Since the war kicked off…Germany has NOT been adding to Putin’s war chest, any more than the US has, because the US still trades with Russia as well.

So STOP saying that that’s either the problem, or a part of the solution.

IT AIN’T!!!

Germany is NOT buying Russian oil, and stopped buying it when the war started. You saying stuff to the contrary is simply…factually…FALSE. So why do you keep insisting that it isn’t?

Query: do you ever admit when you are wrong, even when proven so? Do you ever stand and accept correction?

You sure haven’t done so here.

The West is waking up to the Russian drone onslaught

Russia recruits Arab fighters with promises, then sends them to Ukraine frontlines

Perhaps Finland can provide the USA with an edge for our Coast Guard.

See here.

Another Russian incursion into NATO

OUCH!!!

Those are some staggering numbers, if true.

I wonder what the toll on the Ukrainian side is. All in all, this has been one DEVASTATING war.
