Russian Three Star General CAPTURED in Ukraine

Simple lessons of history, you never negotiate with
an aggressor. They do not respect borders, boundaries, or honor
treaties.

Taiwan should be very afraid.

With some of these folks views we would have lost WW2. Are they descendants of Neville Chamberlain?

I’m amazed by their peace-nik take on all accounts.

From not being able to stand the sight of blood or death to living in fear of
Russia and thinking if we just placate them this one time it will
be one big happy planet. They can’t stomach the relatively small
costs the US has invested in securing our global standing in the world.
We would never have won WII or the cold war for that matter with that
attitude. It’s as if they want to help reassemble the USSR.

To be clear, I absolutely abhor war and the death and destruction and misery that
comes with it. It is option of last resort; but when your neighbors roll across your
internationally established borders with tanks and armed divisions, you have little choice.

Our government’s apparent enthusiasm to embrace Russia’s “side” of this conflict is weird, at best. It doesn’t make any sense.

Saying “the war needs to end” is fine, and that’s the goal we should be after. But if we’ve determined that we’re not going to continue to support Ukraine, then we don’t have anything to say about the situation. We’re out.

Either support the country defending itself against a hostile aggressor who we’ve fought against everywhere else for 80 years, or STFU and get out of the way. Telling another country to roll over and give up sovereign territory is not “making a deal” - it’s imperialism in favor or Russia.

And blaming Ukraine for the “unrest” that Russia has fomented along its borders for DECADES is exactly the propaganda that Russia feeds the world. I wasn’t aware that so many Americans were sympathetic to that BS, but here we are.

The war started when the Asov battalion started killing Russian speakers and Ukraine made them part of the military.

attempts to denigrate Zelenskyy have led to a surge in Ukrainian unity

“Embrace Russia’s side”???
Who told you that you know who or we are embracing Russia’s side?
Roll over?
You and others have no idea whatsoever what is being discussed. You have no idea. Because you are not pervy to the discussions. Don’t try to blame you know who or accuse him for playing into p.o.e. poutine. You have no ideas.
Zelensky himself wanted an end to the war within a few months after it started. But guess who said no to the negotiations? European countries and us did. At the same time these same European countries especially Germany was/is buying Russian energy. Why is that? Isn’t that a conflict of interest and going against Ukraine? To this day Germany is buying Russian energy. How is that possible I am asking? Do you have answer for that one?
The same people that want the war to go one are the same people that lifted the ban on the Nord stream pipeline. How is that possible?
On one side p.o.e. poutine make $B’s because of that decision but the same people want us to believe that the war should go on? Can someone, anyone explain to me the logic in this?
Do you even know this is going on?

Echoing the Kremlin propaganda justification almost verbatim. And double downs
on it.

Can’t you see Ukraine started the war !

This whole situation makes me kind of think of the deal where the husband (Russai) beats up on the wife (Ukraine).

Afterward, he tells the wife that he didn’t want to do it, but she forced his hand. It hurts him more than it hurts her, etc.

That’s quite a list of countries who have wronged Russia first, isn’t it?

Yeah the meetings in Saudi Arabia just seem to be a discussion
on how to carve up the Ukrainian resources. Sickening to see
what this is turning into.

Watch out Panama and Greenland.
