I believe it will be by far the most sparse TDECU has been. Worse than Covid.
10K seems too low, but wouldn’t surprise me. People have totally given up. My family and I will be there, but I don’t even want to be. Just doing it because A) want to support players B) paid a lot of money for tickets
I’ll still be yelling and wearing my red
Walking back to the car tonight and the wife said nope to next weekend. I probably won’t be able to give away my upper deck seats.
Chatting with other fans and they weren’t even mad or upset, just seemed like they didn’t care.
I noticed a lot of people in Coogs gear tonight who seemed to be first time attendees. I doubt we see them back anytime soon.
That’s where I’m at. Just apathetic at this point. Hopeless is another word.
We allegedly sold 26k season tickets so I will go with that number.
I was talking to an ooooold timer. He was scootering around and sat near us for a minute. Started chatting about how jewel was a great motivator and would have been able to teach these kids to at least fundamentally tackle.
He said this might be the last game for him. He chuckled saying he might not make it to next year.
I will be there. It is not the players’ fault on performance. This is on the coaching staff, specifically offense and head.
Attendance will continue to decline for the rest of the year.
What a COMPLETE FAILURE of a transition into the Big 12.
Attendance doesn’t matter and will not improve until the W/L improves.
Performance is everything and takes care of all problems.
We can only expect it to get much worse before it gets better.
Loyality works for about 10K diehards. everyone else respects winning
Apathy is here…not good, we had so much potential as a program
Attendance is the least of our problems.
Probably announced at 33-34 but 25-27 in seats.
33,500. Great game to bring the family to! Lots of space!!!
a lot will come back to see some big12 vs the coogs that werent coming for aac and c-usa foes but the last few games could be sparce if the coogs arent competitive in the big12 games.
but yeah, the shsu game att will be bad.
I don’t want to see our kids tormented by that self-demeaning thing Dana calls our offense.
It was a good crowd today and better than utsa , again lots of people on the concourse. It was a good crowd. If we played tcu in the aac or Cusa , it would be 25 k but today was mid 30s and tcu brought a lot of fans which I was glad for so the big 12 is helping.
Their fans were behaved in my section.
One thing to tell the staff is go for the field goal when it’s there in range vs being cute going for it bc we haven’t had success on 4th and one lately.
Score should have been 36 to 16 and pts add up
We lost to rice not doing 1 field goal we should have.
We almost lost to utsa leaving 6 pts off the board in field goals.
I will be there because I bought season tickets
Kind of like a dentist appointment. Not looking forward to it, but it has to be done.
