Those were the days. Tailgates aplenty
all over the blue lot on Saturdays. . There was a buzz in the air. In those days, it was more fun going to baseball than to basketball for me. Hopefully with a new coach, we can get back to something similar.

I remember those days, so much fun!
We’ve been avid supporters of Cougar baseball for a long time but now live in the La Grange area. It’s been getting more and more difficult to make the trip but CALP will definitely make it worth the effort. Count on my wife and I plus I’ll reach out to some others who will love to join in!

With the change in Baseball schedule this weekend, we’re going to adjust the CALP plans some. We’ve had this CALP “reunion” planned for a while and really want to get it in. We discussed and will gather around 1:00 PM, do our Chug thing, and then go in for game 2 of the double header. Sure hoping to see a good group of people. Chug was such a blast…it would be good to visit, catch up. It’s a good while until that first Football tailgate. See y’all soon! Go Coogs!

I was curious about how things went with Chug-a-Lug Park. Really sorry I couldn’t make it. Standing date for Kentucky Derby party.
There was a good little group. Some players from back in that time and their families. A hand full of the Chug regulars from back then. It
was an outstanding day to be outdoors! We had a good time talking about those times, LOTS of laughs! I’m sure we’ll give it a go again for 3 or 4 Saturday’s next season.
