
Yea, back in the day we had to do that at the fraternity house once because we were farming them. Couldn’t believe the junk we had that was collecting water and no idea why we had some of it. It was almost an instant difference in the amount of mosquitos.

Growing up in the Gulf coast, I’ve had to cover my face to breathe because the mosquitoes were so thick. And down in the coastal bend, those suckers get as big as wasps.
I was also surprised to get swarmed on the river bank close to Williston, ND one summer. No place should have to suffer winters like theirs AND mosquitoes.
Would have thought New Mexico and Arizona would be in top 5 on low number
of skeeters.
