Jim, just because he has a better arm doesn’t mean he is a better quarterback or as accurate as Ward. What we need from him is not to turn over the ball, and show some accuracy. 30-50 in a 7 by 7 setting is a little concerning, but coach Brian Johnson & Mayor have time to work out the rust from him.
I agree, Progs. That’s why I’m asking out of those 20 incompletions, how many are screens, crossers, deep outs or posts? They could have been working on certain packages. Unless you were there it’s impossible to tell how they looked. Then you have to consider how much were they mix and matching along the O line? It’s the first scrimmage. I’m confident that we’ll be fine come the first game of the season.

Yeah, I think the spring game will be much more telling about KA’s progress. I am certainly concerned that he has no competition for the position at the moment.
Sells is out for the spring with a hernia and Denley is out with a knee injury.
The injury bug ain’t on the Cougars’ side so far.
