he would come here in a millisecond to be the head coach at UH. He is probably making a little over $100K at USC, which is nothing!

Sean Allen and David Pierce are two good options. I would probably lean David Pierce.

Unless we get an AD that gives a sh-t about baseball or a mandate comes from the top I doubt we offer enough for Pierce.
Rather go with Allen anyway and let him build his program.

Rhetorically speaking, how does a coach build a program in the NIL/Portal era?
So Sean will be on the same coaching staff as Malcolm (Cedric the Entertainer’s son) on The Neighborhood.
Money and more money.
Baseball NIL game is not nearly what the other two big sports are….if you can recruit and have decent facilities you can win.
Excuses are like a$$holes……
Look at all of the smaller programs that make the NCAA’s every year……many have ZERO NiL programs….

Yes, but they play in weaker conferences. They are not going after the same players. The teams that win in the Big 12, have good NIL programs. We can not compete with them in this area or at least haven’t shown the ability to raise money beyond the enhancements they made a few years ago.
Well then we should have stayed in Conference USA or the Sunbelt……not sure if we could win the Southland……
Again, get it together, stop making GD excuses or shut it down!
