I think so many programs get caught in the hype of a few good seasons.
What they really need to see is how well that guys recruits are for a couple years. This means a coach actively coaching through a complete 4 year recruiting cycle.
You can’t win in college or NFL without a good qb.

I don’t know if it’s the QB; after all, they did score 45 points. Sounds to me like their defense was their problem in that game.
Yeah their defense has been beyond atrocious this year. Its really not their qb play.

Davis didn’t do anything and was benched at Alabama State - undersized and overrated
The only thing that matters anymore is how much money do you have to pay recruits.
