Several students were assaulted on campus this week, the university has put out a statement

Arrests, yes.

Prosecutions……different story.

I know that with Ogg, only fentanyl was getting serious attention in the HC DA’s office.

That might be changing now under Teare.

In Washington County, we prosecute drug offenses much more aggressively.

Thanks for the feedback. I realize a rural
county operates differently then an urban one, which you average over 10 reported sexual assaults a day. But a lot is the same too.

But it still seems like we’ve lost the part about a speedy trial along the way. Not sure what the answer is. HC jail looks like a really busy place with about 300 people being discharged daily.

Guess what you can still do while you’re out on bond… pay taxes…

This is a great idea by students

“Cougar Escorts” would have been a successful enterprise in the Yellow Pages days.

(The Yellow Pages were this book that… eh, never mind.)

“Cougar Escorts” …Seems more like a back of the Houston Press classified ad. Probably was actually.

Maybe an early craigslist post…

Yeah, the idea is good, but maybe reconsider the name.

Cougar escorts existed in the 1960’s.

Hello, Cougar Escorts? Yes, I’d like to order an escort to room 4B in the quads. Thank you.

Is it a sister organization to the Buggy Beauties?

Any data on bonds for sexual offenders?
There is clearly a fundamental legal issue.
For this p.o.e. murderer to post bail it should bring up an immediate meeting for the Texans law officials.

Where did he post bail? He’s homeless and on a
$15 million bond.

Texas Tech is a dangerous campus.

Damn…

I know its easy to go loco out in good ol’ Lubbz, but i rarely hear of this level of danger on their campus tbh.

Right… it’s normally just rapes and other alcohol fueled assaults…
