Should the three points line be eliminated?

Intensity - you are correct about that. However, the product from an entertainment stand point can still be improved in many ways outside of how much that specific game matters. Another problem is that is is clear that most players don’t REALLY care about winning any specific game and creating ‘animosity on the court’ lets say. That is why in this specific way the WNBA is more watchable - they are out there scrapping with grudges on the court. It is much more interesting that way.

I love watching the NBA playoffs but I don’t fallow the regular season very closely.
I also root for the teams in the NBA cities I’ve lived in and favoritism is based on chronological order. 1. Rockets 2. San Antonio 3. OKC… okay I lived briefly in Dallas and was born in Ft Worth but I would only root for the Mavs if they were playing the Celtics, Knicks, Lakers, or Warriors. The Rockets are so frustrating….

I’m sure the WNBA is a fine product but my interest in following sports and teams is already close to over saturation. I just can’t create an interest to justify the time commitment to keep up with the goings on in that league.

Yeah… the ladies do seem to be competing harder… but it’s still hard basketball to watch for me…

Rockets, Blazers, Hornets for me… Hornets are probably trumping the Blazers these days since I’ve been in NC for the last 6 years.

Nope.

I watched a lot in the late 80s and early 90s, took a bit of a break for life stuff, then started watching again in the mid-2000s.

That Dallas-Miami final when Wade was shooting 16 FTs a game (Jordan averaged about half that) turned me off.

if they went back to man defense, and knocking the hell out of each other, and a lot less “load management”, I’d give it another shot.

Hornets are evidently a lot more entertaining now than when I was watching.

The Kelly Tripucka-Kurt Rambis-Muggsy Bogues era was not fantastic.

The LaMelo-Knipple era looks promising…

Still mainly just pull for the Rockets but decided to stay planted here in NC so I’m picking up the Carolina teams slowly…

I always liked Kimba Walker’s game. Maybe the Hornets will win their division someday. They don’t make it easy to be a fan.

Hornets downhill since the days of Alonzo Mourning and Grandmama.

I don’t watch college women’s basketball, I surely wouldn’t think about pros.

NBA’s growth has been international, not domestic.

The NBA’s U.S. TV audience peaked in the late 1990s (Jordan era) and has generally been lower but stable since the mid-2000s, with recent rebounds in total reach.

Global audience has expanded dramatically in reach and engagement but lacks granular yearly totals.

The loss of seats would be costly. Don’t care. The players are much bigger and the court hasn’t grown to accommodate it. If we want the game to be run and gun, make the court bigger

 same with the magic

When the superstar centers (shaq and mourning) started to complain and wanted out they damaged the franchises forever

Those teams came in with a nucleus that would’ve been interesting to see how it played out if they stayed together - mourning ironically went to another expansion team in the heat who tried to get Juwan Howard while Shaq got Hollywood and went to the lakers

Is Granmama the greatest professional sports player character in a commercial ever…?

Not a popular pick around here… lol

Not really, just lose a few cheap seats. Raise the basket, if you increase size then 3 point moves back, might bring back the pick and roll and jump shot, like Stockton to Malone. NBA has not been the same since Magic, Bird, Jordan era. Now it is all traveling and flops. Bill Lambeir made it look like MMA.

If I have to hear it every time I hear Bill Laimbeer so do you…
