I thought Keionte Scott went to Miami. I saw both Houston and Miami when i google it.
Hope Jesus lives up to the hype
Agree with number one.
I’d flip flop 2 and 3; Koziel is pre-season all conference by many pubs.
#4 agree.
Not sure on #5. Hadn’t thought of him as an immediate high impact transfer.
Scott did leave for Miami.
Big fan of Machado and Platt. I think they’re going to be every bit as good as Batton and Morris were last year.
My guess for the top five transfers would be Weigman, Koziol, Amare Thomas, Zelmar Vedder or Marc Stampley, and then a tie between the five offensive linemen we signed. I also really like Dean Connors, Keanu Parks, Khalil Laufau, and the tight end from Tulsa, Luke McGary.
He reunited with CBs Coach Zac Etheridge at Miami.
We are not going to replace Batton’s contributions.
It’ll be hard.
Those former Tulane LBs will have to be all-conference in order to live up to that. Hopefully they’ll at least be above average.
I think/hope we are underestimating Dean Connors. He may be a big contributor.
I expect him to be a big favorite in the video game and in real life. His speed is a game changer
I wouldn’t bet on that. Platt played a lot as a true freshman and made 15 tackles in Tulane’s 2023 opener and looked like an All-American before being hurt. Machado was Tulane’s leading tackler and was named second team All AAC in ‘23. He sat out last year with an injury. I think those two will be very good. Behind them we have senior Jalen Garner, Utah transfer Sione Fotu, and Louisiana transfer Carmycah Glass. Linebacker should be a strength for us.
I think there is a very good chance we do….Batton was good but not great.
Everyone is replaceable. I like to think I am not, but really, I am.
Dean Connors can play. Especially at receiving coming out of backfield.
Such a fanboy thing to say. We can definitely replace his production. We replace productive players every year.
Yes, but not everyone is easily replaced by a player with the same ability and drive.
Just like Case and many others, Batton had ‘it’
