Sitake to PSU?

Surprising possibility.

Seems unlikely right now. BYU has seemingly scraped the money together to keep him at the 11th hour.

If true, and as I stared in a previous post, I had a feeling that wouldn’t be a problem for BYU.

We have a coaching carousel thread already

I would have to read or bypass 650 comments to get to this info.

ESPN said this afternoon that Penn State and BYU coach are in serious negotiations…Sounds like he could leave BYU…wow…

Doubtful.

The Big 12 seems like a sweet spot for head coaches…

Not too much pressure to win it all like almost all schools in the SEC place on their coaches, nice salaries and a guaranteed spot for the conference champs to play for it all.

I think BYU is wealthier than PSU. But I’m speaking in terms of collective contributions. Not sure how the elders divvy up resources.

Well done Mr. Sitake on your new contract. Negotiations 101.

Longtime BYU head coach Kalani Sitake agreed to a long-term contract extension to remain in Provo, Utah, university officials announced Tuesday.

Penn Sate having a hard time getting a date for the prom. Obviously it isn’t as attractive a job as PSU officials thought.

And that was before they lost their entire recruiting class for this season.

That would be a tough job to take if you have other options as a coach.

Wow, choosing South Florida over PSU is a real slap in the face.

Penn State should just hire Brian Kelly and call it a day.

Kelly < Franklin

Everybody still on the board < Franklin, though.

At some point they gotta at least put a band-aid on the bullet wound.

The effect of the new CFP is that fringe schools right below blue bloods will fire coaches if they don’t make the CFP on a consistent basis.

Think of LSU, Penn State, Clemson, Florida, FSU etc.
