You gotta be kidding me. T&Ps for the kids arms.
We are playing the 2 worst teams preseason in the big 12 Baylor and BYU are at bottom, glad we are beating both teams but let’s see how we do against stiffer competition, we played well against Vandy so maybe we are good
We’ll know how good this team is in mid-April.
The Coogs have consecutive weekends vs TCU and Tech on the road and UT at home. Those series will tell us how good this team is.
Whiting has another week or so to get it together.
I will short CTW all day… History proves he’s not up to the task. But, we’ll see.

You don’t have to wait until “mid-April” to know if the team is “good or not”.
If you have to watch 35 games to know what kind of team you have you don’t know what you’re looking for….

Watching this game today….i have seen two bone headed decisions by fielders.
I have seen a bone headed coaching call.
And whoever is calling pitches is SUPER PREDICTABLE.
Edit—three stupid plays by fielders.
Not good losing to this team, schedule fixing to get a lot harder, reality fixing to set in
Pretty much seeing what I expected under Whitting.

Night and day worse on defense.
Starters are much better.
Hitting is good w a few exceptions. Time to try other guys.
Worked so far but the aggressive running will continue to look stupid as teams get better.
Bullpen has some hope with last years starters helping out.
Same returning bad AAC pitchers hurting them and its roster management malpractice.
Rare back to back home and home vs Rice next.
Rice 6-11 w Htown Christian this weekend.
