Huge win for this team


  • Houston had its share of scoring opportunities in regulation, outshooting ECU 6-2 after the opening frame.
  • The Cougars got on the board and earned the win inside the 97th minute when Nolin Packer found the back of the net and secured the golden goal.

So, the Coogs aren’t out of the Conference tourney race. Top 6 make it and Coogs are only 4 points out of 5th. If this team can build on this last win, knock off a really good Cincy team, and then find a way to find some wins at Memphis, Tulsa, and SMU…Long shot, but you never know.

Big 3-0 win over Cincy. Great weekend puts the Coogs right back in the mix to make the conference tourney with 3 road games to go.
