Memphis is just ahead of UH in the RPI (85 to 89) so this is another very winnable series for Houston. Need to perform on the road though as that’s where a lot of the struggles have come from. Coogs still sit in 2nd place, 3 games back of Tulsa.
Due to impending weather, the University of Houston Softball team’s weekend series at Memphis has been altered. The two teams will play a doubleheader starting at 4 p.m. Friday with the series finale to take place at 2 p.m. Saturday.

Coogs clinch the series and stay all alone in 2nd place in the American. They’re also moving closer to being a bubble team for the tourney. Tough series upcoming though as they have USF next weekend. No matter, the job that coach Vesely and staff are doing is amazing.
