Another tough weekend for the Coogs as they finish 2-3. Good signs though in that they took OU to extra innings twice on Saturday before falling to last year’s national champs.
Shelby Miller is still mashing and is up to 7HR now.
The Coogs may have found their ace; Trystan Melancon is pitching lights out with the no hitter on Friday, a fantastic outing on Saturday, and another nice game on Sunday.
This team has the pieces to make some noise this year, even though they are very young. Should be an interesting season.
