Interesting study. I went ahead and added a number of public schools that we’ve been associated with recently to see how we fared. Very interesting results (Wish I could have added a link with all the schools added):




The mobility rate captures the share of all students at a given college who both came from a lower-income family and ended up in a higher-income family. The top of this list is dominated not by elite colleges, but by mid-tier public ones, including the colleges that make up the City University of New York.

What this shows to me is what we already know; UH takes everyone and provides the tools to have more success than many of our peers.
