May not have been a resignation after all.

Interim coach is a 29 year old rising star. USM probably wants to see what he can do and he’s cheap.

I guess that’s what happens when you lose to South Alabama.

Here we go again - the next young hot OC :joy:

Pity guys who coach defense

South Alabama gave Nebraska all they could handle. Wow, seems really quick to pull the plug. Good luck filling the spot.

Walden only made $110k last year at USM. $80k in 2017 the year he left ETBU as head coach.

Hopson was cheap too. Not that cheap but I’d be surprised if their next HC is given a contract less than $500K/year.

Bower is out of coaching. He was 119-83 including ruining several happy moments for us. He hasn’t forgotten how to coach or recruit. They would be stupid to not to offer him the moon to come back.

It will be a little while before the G5 can start paying coaches bigger contracts. Cheap is good right now until things get back to “normal”

Bower would be a great fit for relatively “cheap” as he wouldn’t be looking for the next bigger gig.
