He doesn’t care? How do you know that?
Because there’s shite all over the beaches?
So he planned it?
Yes, that’s been posted already and we’ve discussed it.
Is SpaceX refusing the clean up, or as coachv posted, just a money grab from Mexico?
Elon is just bad.
Elon is terrible.
Elon should be in jail.
Elon should be deported.
Elon is a p.o.s. nazi
Just a few months ago…
Elon is the greatest.
Elon is a visionary.
Elon is a game changer.
Elon is who I want to marry my daughter.
Elon is cool.
In your heads…Speaking about head:
How dare you use the great Steven Wright in a propaganda attempt! I won’t stand for it!
One of my idols.
"What time is it?
I love one liner comics. Mitch Hedberg was another of my favs.
“I don’t know I am not from around here”
I had the pleasure of knowing Mitch. He was amazing. So tragic.
“Why are you closed? Your sign says open 24 hours. Not in a row!”
I don’t know if he personally doesn’t care, but I am confident in my assumption that virtually no company would care about these things unless forced to care. Unless it’s part of their thing like Patagonia or something like that.
Expensive clean up that is not profitable typically gets moved to the bottom of the priority list of any company. Just the way it is.
So you’re only raging against SpaceX because of your media? Since you know, no company gives a crap about the environment. Wow.
I don’t need the media to tell me that. We’ve got literal decades of lawsuits/settlements, lobbying efforts, Superfund sites, etc. That kind of prove it.
I’m not raging against SpaceX, like every other company they will care as much as they are required too. Nothing more, just like every other company out there. I don’t blame them anymore than I blame predators for not caring too much about how the prey feels. SpaceX’s job is to shoot rockets into space successfully and make as much money as possible doing it. Not focus on keeping on everything cleaned up anymore than they are required to do.
You just aged yourself, and me too.
I didn’t realize you two were that young…
The headline of this article is obviously very negative to get your attention - avoid (over)reacting to it. The actual article seemed rather balanced to me but more importantly, it did a good job of giving more background on the successes and the challenges, and some historical comparison to NASA. So, I learned some stuff here.
Is Elon Musk’s Starship Doomed? The future of SpaceX keeps blowing up, and no one knows if he can fix it.
