Staying Up for Arizona

My big concern for next week is the team staying up psychologically for the Arizona game. We just bea a second very good team.

It will be a challenge on the road.

Think the game is in two weeks.

It is. They have plenty of time for naps.

Still…

I’m worried about staying up myself. Joker starts late

As improbable as it was 2 weeks and a day ago they have a chance for being bowl eligible. AZ is the 1st and easiest step on that goal. They will be motivated no matter where they play.

Between now and November 15 Wildcats Basketball will be in full beast mode.

They have a bad football team.

No home field advantage for The Wildcats. Our defense will stifle them.

Look for a Cougar win.

The last time we had a bye week, we were well prepared against a much better team TCU, I expect the same against a lesser team Arizona with better momentum.

No we had a bye week after TCU and looked like sh$t against Kansas like they hadn’t practiced in 2 weeks

We’ve had a tendency to get a little over confident after a big win. Hope we don’t do that this time.

Are you talking about the fans or the team?

The Utah win bolstered our confidence to face KSU.

Now we’ll be supremely confident against Baylor and Zona.

Hopefully that’ll get us in a bowl!

Yes

I am expecting another hard fought game. We cannot take anyone lightly, we aren’t good enough to play flat. If we come out with a positive attitude and high energy, we can win our next two games. BYU will be a tough row to hoe, but not impossible.

Plan on watching Mike Tyson knock that Paul guy’s head off (Unless it’s fixed) then watching our game with the help from Coffee. Just hope this open week sets us up to hone in on fundamentals and be prepared.

I think it depends on what Mike wants.

As part of the contract, I’ve heard:

  • Paul gets to hand pick the judges
  • Mike will get paid by the round - the longer the fight lasts, the more money he gets.
  • Rounds are 2 minutes, not 3
  • 14 oz gloves, not 10

If Mike is doing it for just this one payday and decides to screw around for 8 rounds, he has a good shot at losing. If he just wants to win, he should try to take Paul out in the first round. Mike’s seems like he’s in good shape but he’s in good shape for a 59 year old, not a 20 something or even a 30 something.
