This will certainly help early in the season. Koziol & Connors were top targets for Weigman
Amare, is who defenses will try to stop. So who’s that consistent #2 option for Weigman? Could be Boogie, Could be Trent Walker

Boogie is 9 months behind and will have to earn playing time.
He also said that Stephon is different than bringing in other transfers this late in the game because he already knows the system, outside of some tweaks they put in since last year.

It wouldn’t surprise me if Boogie needs a few weeks of practice with his teammates to get into playing shape. If Fritz and company think he is ready now, lace em up and let’s go.
Part of me wants to keep Boogie under wraps until Texas Tech, and have him explode for his debut.

One of the talking heads on ESPN this morning said a P4 Commissioner told him that school scouting departments are monitoring the NFL waiver wire to see if there are any waived players who may have some eligibility remaining.
