Strange Fact about UCONN Game

UH’s last road game is UCONN.

This is also UCONN last home game in the AAC.

UCONN’s first game in the AAC was a loss.

Dec. 31, 2013 at UH, 75-71.

With road game officiating what it is and a large home crowd wishing their team a win in its last AAC home game, well a UH win is not probable but would be great as a send off to the BE.

Maybe this will be the game that young UH players can overcome the environment, officiating and get a road win. This will be a tournament type game just like this Sunday and the following Memphis game.

Maybe the officiating will not be home cooking at UConn since they are leaving the AAC and they have no shot at the NCAA tourney. Let’s just hope it will be called consistantly on both sides.

Don’t get your hopes up. 5 of those coming of age games were lost. Simple fact is we don’t have the experience. That unfortunately matters.

We most likely lose this game because they get 3 to 4 TIMES as many FT as us.

So, UH got fewer FT attempts at home against Cincinnati (12-18 to their 20-28.)

UH might win by 1 with a free throw differential of 40-10 in favor of UCONN…

Would be great if UH - UCONN game had what happened in the Wichita St. - SMU game.

SMU 3-7 and WSU 6-7

Is that a typo on the ESPN box score?

That seems impossible for an AAC BB game.
