For anyone who grew up watching cartoons in the 80s, that logo is pretty much Bluegrass from SilverHawks:
Skeeters? Space Cowboys? 0-2 with names.
Spent half my childhood in the shadow of the Imperial sugar refinery hearing the whistle blow anywhere in town and swimming in Oyster Creek with the 2 ft long catfish before the town became another faceless prefab suburb.
Very little remains of the original town but the empty charhouse. Should have aleast given some homage to the history and named the team the Imperials which was a finalist.
