Bryan. Aldrin trained as a pilot at Bryan Air Force Base in the 1950s and returned to the site as a flight instructor after the Korean War. In 1969, he was the pilot for Apollo 11. A statue of Aldrin was installed at Texas A&M’s RELLIS Campus in 2023.

If these were all staged it would be IMPOSSIBLE to keep these “productions” “quiet”
Tens of thousands of individuals were involved in these missions.

why the space center doesnt have some statues, i dont know; friendswood also. houston tries to pass itself off as space city; it should lean into it more than it does.

I like that idea. Should have statues of all the
Apollo astronauts, a statue of LM and rover,etc in a nice park. Tranquility Park in
downtown Houston is totally underwhelming
IMHO.
In a better world, people who claim the earth is flat would get a punch in the nose by a kid with a telescope.
