On top of watching one of the most miserable games of all times.
The sound system needs to be toned down. It was so loud that it was impossible to have a conversation with people sitting around me. I know they are trying to appeal to 18 year olds, the music being played can’t be all about that age group.
I have always loved going to the games, but tonight was awful.
Well that’s just the acoustics of the stadium. Being that the entire second level is mostly metal, sound is going to be alot louder and you’re going to feel it. Only solution is to change seats because they can’t really turn down the sound anymore with people on the other side of the stadium not being able to hear it.
Same section as me. That s*%# was beyond loud. You had to wait for the play to start to talk to anyone. Almost as miserable as the game. We must have the same speakers as Spinal Tap.
That system is legit. Was very impressed with the clarity highs, mids and lows. We had lot’s of ugly tonight, but the sound was a bright spot. I’m 2 months from 47, so not sure I’m a kid that loves loud for the sake of it.
Section 311 - it was like being at a concert and the ringing in my ears right now confirms it. I could feel the bass and like others said, I couldn’t have a conversation except between plays.
Honestly, I think they turned it up in the 2nd quarter, or at least that’s when I really started to notice.
Video board looked great, but one small complaint… what’s with the Aggie colors on some of the graphics like “make noise?”
Crowd was smaller but was juiced, we need to make sure we get loud during the opposition huddle. QB Cam Ward of Miami said that opposition fans need to be loud during the huddle then it screws up the offense otherwise it makes no difference.
I had to hold my ear that faced the new video board closed. It was painful to say the least and I was miserable. Agree that the sound was turned up 2nd half. Also the base reverberated through the stands. Section 229. I’m going to have to invest in some really good ear plugs.
