TDECU Experience

I had wifi problems early in the game. The good news is that by the 4th quarter I had sufficient bandwith to stream other games on my phone.

It sounded like a new PA announcer this year. The best part of the game is that I don’t think I heard “It’s 3rd down in the 3rd Ward” at all on Saturday night.

Our usual PA guy splits time with the Astros, so he was busy with his main gig on Saturday.

Interesting I didn’t know this

Volume was too loud. Turn the speakers down.

I agree the new video board is great. We sit 50 yard line and our entire group thought the volume was too loud.

I paid $7,000.00 for my 2 club seats. I darn well better be “takem care of”.

It used to be solid during the Robertson days.

I haven’t been to all of these but having Cincinnati that high makes whole list suspect. Tailgating isn’t as good as many on the list and they literally have portable toilets all over the stadium.

I would just like a few more portables in the blue lot. It’s going to be a happening place as more realize what a bargain it is. Downgraded from green and it was great.

Tailgating is supposed to be about fans tailgating by their cars (hence the name “tailgate”) all over the campus. For some reason, our fans expect it to be a production put on by the school. I have been to games all over the country and our fans are by far the worst at tailgating. There are a few fans around the campus that actually do it right, but too many depend on the school to provide the “tailgate.”

This is on the fans, not the athletic department.

BTW, BYU isn’t listed.

I read elsewhere on this list. It was compiled by a couple of people that had visited over 100 of teh different schools. They worked together to complied this ranking. Neither one had been to BYU, so they were left off since not visited.

As far as loud - It was for me.

I just wish a stadium could take the effort to put speakers around the stadium and not just in the scoreboard to blast loud. Will take effort to sync it, but can be done.

Great we are last in game day experience, attendance, and rankings in the conference, and athletics budget, we better get it together or we can forget about being a power school in any further realignment!!!

This is so depressing. It seems like our athletic department can’t do anything right by fans. Add non-working bathroom stall doors to the list. Seems like simple regular maintenance that facilties management doesn’t care to check or fix.

Yeah I agree… I am nervous and scared. I don’t want to go back to playing Tulsa, Temple, etc…

We’re in 105 and I honestly don’t remember thinking the PA/music was too loud there. It was very loud on the concourse before the game as we walked in behind the student section but not in our seats.

We had our almost-three-year-old granddaughter and she’d have complained if it was bothering her. She had a lot of fun, btw (so at least one of us did!). She wore her Cougar cheerleader outfit and we met some of them pregame. She also liked the band and the skydive team that flew in.

We left at the half due to her bedtime, not the score although I’d have been tempted to bail even if she hadn’t been there.

Didn’t notice the loudness at all, but did appreciate the lack of distortion. Big improvement.

Meant to mention earlier that the folks working the gates were very friendly and accommodating. We had some juice boxes and snacks packed for our granddaughter and based on prior experiences I was half expecting them to kick up a fuss. But we were admitted without a problem.

Agreed. I went to Alabam at LSU 2018 and the parties were all over campus not just in the parking lots. The most impressive part was that everyone packed up and made their way into the stadium 1hr before kickoff.
