Here you go! Get this going. Fill it out and mail to TDECU Building Fund. ![]()
This is so absurd it is funny. It reminds of when the Astrodome opened and there was talk of Judge Roy Hofheinz putting a dome over the City of Houston.
Like it!
Sell ad space on the balloons!
It certainly would be innovative. Lol
We already have Southwest Airlines do random flyovers during the game for free.
We canāt have the blimp interfere with the planes going to and from Hobby.
If itāll be limited coverage, count on Pez to monetize it.
We just need to go full Mr. Burns on the sun.

Just as a reference, trying to buy a canopy for skydiving purposes is about 3-4k. This is a seven cell canopy thatās 190 square feet.
That would be a big parachute for TDECU. How do we then get the stadium with everyone in it, into the air? ![]()
Can we us Alibaba to save money?
How many 200 dollar drones would we need from Alibaba to make a swarm large enough to block out the sun and create shade? Hehehe.
The Roman Coluseum had retractable shades. Itās called a Velarium. They figured it out.
Starlink satellites could work. Just group them together.
We should outfit them with big mirrors to combat global warming too. We can reflect the sun rays back into space and make our own shade in the process.
Did they also have air conditioned bath houses?
As long as we are being practical, thereās a fixer upper domed stadium around 4 miles away that nobody is using. Maybe we could buy it cheap since there is a limited number of potential buyers and move it to our present stadiumās site. Itās even airconditioned! It also has escalators and bathrooms (also airconditioned) within walking distance of the upper level seating. Itās scoreboard is admittedly a bit dated but our new one could probably be made to fit. Sounds perfect.
Isnāt that declared a historical landmark?
I wasnāt alive yet but even people complained about the lack of attendance at the Astrodome.
you guys are soft. My 80 yr old dad sat in the bleachers at Rice during a day game and was fine.

Set up a GoFundMe for the shade. Iām in for $10.00
