If we are just throwing out ideas. Why not an inflatable floating and tethered cloud to provide shade during the day and with LED color changing colors capabilities night.

Think like a small blimp over the stadium positioned to block out the sun and cast a shadow.

Just as a reference, trying to buy a canopy for skydiving purposes is about 3-4k. This is a seven cell canopy that’s 190 square feet.

We should outfit them with big mirrors to combat global warming too. We can reflect the sun rays back into space and make our own shade in the process.

As long as we are being practical, there’s a fixer upper domed stadium around 4 miles away that nobody is using. Maybe we could buy it cheap since there is a limited number of potential buyers and move it to our present stadium’s site. It’s even airconditioned! It also has escalators and bathrooms (also airconditioned) within walking distance of the upper level seating. It’s scoreboard is admittedly a bit dated but our new one could probably be made to fit. Sounds perfect.
