That was a Boeing spacecraft…not NASA.
We have the smallest stadium in the big 12… it is unacceptable… we are no longer in the AAC
And we can’t fill it embarrassing
Worst name change since Twitter became X.
Our attendance would say we are still AAC. I thought things would change with B12 invite.
It’s Boeing that can’t get them home. SpaceX and Boeing competed under the same program. Boeing received twice the development money as SpaceX but it is SpaceX that has delivered.
If Cincinnati and UCF have not expanded their stadiums for Big 12 play, what makes you think we will?
There is not reason to expand the stadium. I can count the number of sellouts we have had since 2014 on one hand.
And even once we do start filling the stadium more consistently, it would make more sense to just increase ticket prices rather than adding more seats
Does anyone know the new seating capacity after the operations facility is completed?
I think it still says “NASA” on the side of the space craft. Boeing is a contractor for NASA and believe me NASA “Experts” make input and changes to the design. NASA’s finger prints are all over this disaster, so of course it is all Boeing’s space craft! NASA gets part of the blame for the flop. Just say’in .
Go Coogs…beat the 'Cats !
I just don’t want to have the smallest stadium in the big 12. Hell even Baylor’s is bigger
Tough, we do not draw as many as BU.
Baylor has a nicer stadium than UofH. I think it’s great! I like our stadium too.
Cincy has the smallest
Those mansions on McGregor WERE upscale neighborhoods that developed around he university.
They just let them rot.
I think we will see a capacity decrease tied to some sort of new premium options before we see an increase in capacity.
That’s because they cannot expand it. They would have already if they were able to
Until we go 5 consecutive seasons meeting the criteria below, any talks of stadium expansion needs to stop.
-
5+ years of sellouts
-
5+ year waiting list for season tickets
-
5+ years of no bad attendance threads on Coogfans
Thank you for adding some sense in regards to stadium expansion.
