Tech’s general counsel objected to 16 things in the agreement including language that makes rules/penalties possibly retroactive, among other issues. Can’t sue the commission, either.
In other words, now that they’ve seen the results of opening the vault, they’re looking for ways to avoid agreeing to something that limits what they can pay players,

This more than about Texas Tech their the voice who decided to speak up., probably after surveying the room. They don’t like it you betcha bottom dollar there are others, their just not showing their hand.
Everyone else is just jealous that the sand fleas took advantage of the opportunity of an unregulated market while most others sat on their hands and waited. Of course they want to keep doing exactly what they are doing. Anyone in their shoes would.
We need Rich Kinder to be our Cody Campbell. He already announced that he’s donating $10B to Houston charities. Too bad he’s way too decent of a human being to waste his money on football.

He is giving money to keep older Third Ward structures, great but…
What about giving money to help gentrify the entire Third Ward? That would benefit the entire Third Ward including UH and TSU. Obviously by his donations he could care less about us/UH. I find it fascinating since UH has a great energy department…which is directly connected to his business.

He has made it a point to exclude UH. Correct me if I am wrong but there is an obvious intent to not include us or TSU.
Why would he donate to UH? The guy is a Mizzou alumni.

What UH needs to do is establish a degree program at Bauer callled the billionaire factory, with the stipulation, signed, you become a billionaire with UH degree from the program you give 10% of your wealth, forever

Read above. He’s donating to Rice. When you’re worth that much your giving doesn’t need to be limited to your alma mater.
But you’re missing the point, which is we need a heavy hitter. If we had someone helping us take advantage of this system, we wouldn’t be crying about sand aggies.
