I don’t have a problem with religion. You can practice whatever religion you want on your own time. But the constitution prohibits the state from establishing a religion, period. There is SCOTUS precedent on this very question, and it has already been found unconstitutional. The only reason this law was passed was because SCOTUS is now controlled by ultra-right-wing activists who have no problem rewriting decades of well-established precedent to fit their narrow world views.
Religion and the state don’t mix. That’s not what this country was founded on. If you think the ten commandments belong in public schools, you’re not just un-American, you’re anti-American.

You can argue that Christians shouldn’t want them mixed either.
For example, saying we are a Christian nation means we (Christians) have to own some things I certainly don’t want to. Not to mention Jesus and first century Christians didn’t roll like that.
And I mean let’s be honest lots of the Christian/Catholics only want like the angry, bossy parts of everything to be imposed or the showy parts.
