Terry Black’s BBQ, from the famous Black’s BBQ family of Lockhart, TX opens today in the Heights, 1329 N. Shepherd Dr. They had a VIP soft opening a few days ago. Adrian Peterson loves the Q.

They’re opening one in San Marcos that’s literally in the same parking lot as Black’s BBQ. It’s quite the family feud.
Terry Black’s is generally better, in my experience. But their expansion make it almost a certainty that some locations will be subpar.
Always enjoyed Terry Black’s when I’m in Austin. Can’t wait to try the Heights location. But nothing beats Corkscrew’s brisket.
