I wonder how much of the CO2 increase can be attributed to the lowering of the Earths capability to process CO2? With the steady and increasing destruction of the South American rainforest (and others around the world) the last 5 decades, I imagine it’s not an insignificant amount.
Think how the dictatorship of China is producing solar panels and other products. Some claim on this thread that the same dictatorship of China is leading the world in solar energy. How repugnant is it that the same posters do not even question the origins of these solar panels.
The Paris accord is a scam. The same accord is letting the Chinese dictatorship to open new coal plants. They could care less if they pollute the world. How could they? THEY ARE A DICTATORSHIP. Obviously some could care less if they are. At the same they keep posting on how terrible our police or judicial system is. You like the Paris accord? Go ahead and post what results, verifiable results that everyone can see.
There are more trees in the US than there were 100 yrs ago. According to the FAO. The US has 8% of the worlds forests. This is great news for climate alarmists.
Is climate alarmist supposed to be derogatory? We keep sounding the alarm, see the ice melting, water rising and temperatures never seen before and somehow we still have deniers.
Hope the Grid can handle the climate
What are you doing for climate change?
Climate change deniers are like that toad put in coldwater and the heat is turned on, he doesn’t realize he’s being boiled alive
Looks like they may be voting for people that pass those legislation.
I’m not going to be banned today.
No personally, not politically
Probably generating more energy than when it was working. Should have used natural gas less pollution than a windmill in fire
That’s already been posted above and responded to.
Redundant; see few posts above in thread. It’s the UK
version of the LA Times story.
Looks like the cure is worse than the disease
Absolutely.

I didn’t realize coal ash was that big of a problem. Really puts things in
perspective. Thanks for finding and posting the info.
Meanwhile , back on topic, Channel 11 did a video series called Energizing Texas.
The series was done last fall, so most of the information is relatively new and some things targeted for 2022 action. Not super in-depth, but I did learn a few new things from the 6 part series.
Give it a look. Warning - information presented may be upsetting to incandescent bulb warmers.
Up to 90% of cheap wind power from the valley is blocked due to grid congestion. Instead
of blowing money on political stunts at the border, money could have been spent building
new transmission lines. Cost was mentioned at $1.2 billion to get the power generated to where it is
needed.
…but, but, but we are in the Paris accord with china.
chinese dictatorship and coal…and the Paris accord?
Is the Paris accord good?
Is the Paris accord working?
How is the chinese dictatorship doing with the Paris accord?
