Texas High School 6A Football Championship

Does anybody have what the attendance figures projected for these games??

4A was about 18,500, and 5A was about 21,500

Thanx

I was in line at IAH Dollar for an hour for a rental car. Saw several North Shore and C.E. King folks getting rental cars. I talked for the whole hour to a lawyer with a daughter on C.E. King cheerleading squad. He’s running for state representative. It was a cool experience. My former assistant lives in his district.
My first game running chains/clock last year was a C.E. King game. King came a long way since last year.

6A championship came in at just under 40,000. :open_mouth:

I was there! It was awesome. As someone else on here pointed out, Yoakum switched to a straight wildcat offense. They threw all of two passes. One end-around, two or three handoffs, and the rest were straight QB runs. Their QB was elusive, and he switched time with SMU commit X’Zavier Barnett. Too much speed for the Grandview Zebras.

Someone from Yoakum shared a video of the team arriving in town just before midnight, escorted by fire trucks blasting sirens.
