Texas rep. introduces FURRIES Act to prevent students from using litter boxes in schools

I totally agree.

What next if someone says…“who let the dogs out?!?” And kids bark (they acted like a dog) they get suspended?

I think this would be more common on this board than at a high school.

It’s not a common thing, but if you’d like to use this opportunity to tell us something, it’s a safe space.

When my daughter was in middle school, some girls acted like cats , wearing the cat ears and meowing. I’m not lying so it could be a thing of identifying as animals or trees. Lol

That’s called playing.

Kids need to do more, not less.

I cannot believe anyone thinks schools were providing cat litter for kids dressed as animals to pee in.

This is some dark ages idiocy.

It’s culture war nonsense. I had someone use the same story to tell me how silly California was. The story jumps around to different locales, depending on which hack politician wants to score anti-woke points.

Lazy and embarrassing it’s in a bill that may get voted on.

We sorely lack critical thinking skills. People need to ask WHY ARE WE BEING LIED TO and WHO SPREADS THE LIES?

It’s a pretty obvious answer as our country is currently be fleeced.

Basically, people wetting themselves publicly. A common feature of the former Politics board

So now they just go in the bushes?

As God intended

I don’t think this is real (at least I hope not) but this whole thread made me think of this.

What cats are affected by this legislation? Felix the Cat, Fritz the Cat, Krazy Kat, Bill the Cat, Garfield, or Heathcliffe? Inquiring minds need to know.

For the undereducated:

I was gonna post without comment, but the parade of stupid on this clip is something else.

The cat litter lobby is going to fight this bill tooth and claw.

“The bill, named after the “furry” subculture, which broadly refers to people with a particular interest in animal characters with humanlike qualities, bans dressing up like an animal (such as by wearing tails, collars, ears or leashes) in schools”
