It’s almost as if we’re playing our main in-state rival or something

Toughest team wins.

I guess you could say we still can’t keep their name out of our mouths in multiple threads…

That’s how rivalries work right

Yup. So why is it so surprising?

Mostly because I was told we weren’t rivals :nail_care:

They support their team lol

Woah! This is bulletin board material. So disrespectful…

Not surprised… Even the Texas Tech AD doesn’t understand basic geography.

I sooooooo want to win this game!

Can we give him food poisoning while he’s here? Maybe “accidentally” drown out their band with an errant PA glitch? Be a shame if a fire alarm went off in their hotel at 3 a.m.

This is such a asinine statment. The Longhorns came to town couple years ago and even their large t-shirt fanbase didnt outnumber UH fans. There was more red than orange. When we played Tech at Robinson with Case there were much more UH fans. Heck UH fans even out did OU fans at NRG noticeably. UH fans can be fickle but they do show up for big games.

“Red Raider Nation, it’s official — we have declared Saturday night’s game in Houston our eighth home game this season,” Texas Tech athletic director Kirby Hocutt posted X, formerly Twitter, on Thursday night. “Houston is West Texas.”
