You may be right even with coach Willie Fritz run offense and shorten the game.
But hopefully the humidity gets them tired.
UH needs to score a TD first for them to have a puncher chance.

What was the line in 2009?
We’re not beating them on the ground. We’ve gotta run a hurry up offense similar to the last ten minutes of the Oregon State game to have a fighting chance. Frankly, I don’t trust our defense to cover their receivers and I think our secondary is gonna get exploited. If we can somehow force them to keep everything in front, than we have a chance. We have to have Weigman play like a Heisman candidate though, and it’s over if we turn the ball over.

What’s likely to happen is UH will play up their Tech’s competition…

No one is expecting us to win… But to shorten the game and keep it within 10 points is possible since the casinos know more than me and you lol.
If it was that easy to predict against the casinos we would be rich.

It was Houston by -3.5 because Tech lost so much from 2008 roster.

Tech is having a great year people but they are in no way a storied team the likes of which we never seen before.
Don’t get your bowels in an uproar.
Tech is good. They should be proud of their season to date but at the end of the day it is just another ranked team.

And because we had beaten a top 10 team on the road the week before.
I think if we keep it close then we have nothing to worry about. I’d argue we even have a good chance at the Big 12 title game.

I can see us sticking with the ball control offense and trying to keep the score close into the 4th. Our offense can’t trade blows all game with them but can put together a couple quick scoring drives late. We also have a kicker not afraid under pressure.

You never know, they drummed Oregon St but we were coming off a bye and had to go there, they got them at home. The curse of the Blue uniform works against us.

Seems high. I figured it would be around +7 but the Friday game probably didn’t help. Either way I wouldn’t touch it – it’s an emotional bet which is never good and it’s easy to see it either way.
If we cover it I think it’s a success. I know we’re not in this for moral victories, but no one has stayed that close to them so far this year.
I REALLY like our chances…
