McLean Tx. Barbed wire was called The Devil’s Rope back in the day.

McLean. The Devil’s Rope Museum opened in 1991 in an abandoned brassiere factory along old Route 66. The building also houses the Texas Route 66 Museum, which contains 700 artifacts from the historic highway.
