Texas Trivia June 21st

Hello from So Padre! On my annual sojourn for 2 weeks of fishing, beer and shopping in a Mexican border town. Also today in my 46th wedfing anniversay and my mom’s birthday, 100th had she lived.

So today’s question, which building is taller, the State Capital in Austin or the US Capital Building in DC?

Texas is but did you know both Louisiana and Nebraska’s capitals are taller. i guess not everything is bigger in Texas. :grinning:

The Texas State Capitol. It stands 302.64 feet from the south front ground level to the tip of the star atop the Goddess of Liberty, while the U.S. Capitol measures 288 feet from the east front ground level to the top of the Statue of Freedom, making the Lone Star State’s capitol about 14.64 feet taller than the nation’s.
