Thanks

We all are appreciative of this team, the coaching staff and the success of your efforts. There are some things that I greatly appreciate.

First, you started the season as a team and you ended it as a team. No one opted out of the bowl game. That speaks volumes about your character. We all recognize that alone was a most unselfish act, but it shows your commitment to the team and our school.

Early in the season I noticed that our receivers always handed the ball back to the referees. A small thing for sure but it shows a great deal of respect for the refs and for the sport. Someone has taught you that you are representing all of us. Spinning a ball on the turf apparently has now become a developed talent of some very self centered teams.

You played a full four quarters in each game. More importantly you played it at a high level with complete sportsmanship. LSU needs to dial in around a hundred yards of penalties into each of their game plans. Penalties are a part of the game but the type of penalties they got reflects exactly who they are.

Not since CBY have we had a coach that develops life long character traits in our players. CWF is to be congratulated. I am even becoming fond of that chubby apple dumpling in charge of our defense.

You are a greatly reflection of our school and program. Please accept my sincere appreciation for all that you have done.

Well said and Go Coogs! Looking forward to great things coming.

Great work by this team. The coaching staff and the players bought in and it paid off. I cannot wait until next season proud of this team.

Thanks to the Players (for their grit), the Coaches (for developing the players and building a Program), and the Fans (for showing up and giving a damn).

Thanks to those of you who put up with my relentless support of Willie. I know it often came across as more about Willie than the Coogs, but I KNEW what he would do, and enjoyed the players and the team as much as any of you.

Thanks, mostly, to God, for giving me another year, for blessing me and my Family, and for giving me challenges and the strength to overcome them.

Y’all have a Happy New Year !

Well said. The part about “always handing the ball back to the refs” speaks volumes about CWF’s character.

This team exceeded my expectations and then some. Nothing but good things to say about this year. I think it’s only going to get better!
